Deep Sea Divers Den specialise in taking certified divers to one of the great wonders of the world. Deep Sea Divers Den operate two dive catamarans which have proven to be very stable liveaboard vessels.
Our boats have permanent moorings on Norman, Saxon, Jorgies, Breaking Patches and Hastings Reef. Our friendly and helpful staff are extremely proficient in their individual roles, and will ensure your trip is a memorable one.
Prices are inclusive of the use of all dive equipment, bed linen, meals and accommodation whilst on board, air fills and transfers to and from your city accommodation.
Our most popular trip is the 3 day 2 night trip which departs daily. On this trip you have the opportunity for 11 dives including 2 night dives. Two day 1 night trips are also available and allow for up to 7 dives including 1 night dive.
Early to bed early to rise, 7.30 am pick-up from city accommodation in our courtesy coach. Around to Divers Den where your equipment will be issued and certification cards checked. From here you wiil be transferred down to the Cairns Harbour where you'll jump aboard Seaquest ADV and settle in for a 8.30 am departure to the Outer Barrier Reef. Arrive at Norman Reef by 10.00 am, transfer to OceanQuest and prepare yourself for a 10.30 am dive site briefing, conducted by the on board Divemaster. You and your buddy are now free to dive the scheduled dives, with your first dive being the deepest and each successive dive becoming shallower. Lunch is served between 12 noon and 1 pm, wth dinner at approximately 6 pm. Grab a torch and your buddy and watch the Great Barrier Reef come alive, as you dive by night (weather permitting).
Up early once again, 7 am morning wake-up call followed by breakfast. The rest of the day is free time to dive at your leisure with a maximum of 4 dives including a night dive available. Lunch & Dinner are served at approximately at the same time as Day One.
Up to sunrise, dive the Great Barrier Reef as the sun breaks across the water. Sit down to a hearty breakfast, to keep your energy levels up for the rest of the day's activities. You are free to dive any of the scheduled dives until lunch, which is served at approximately 1 pm. After lunch, transfer to Seaquest and unwind and enjoy the sea breeze as it relaxes you on the return trip to Cairns, arriving at approximately 4 pm. Our courtesy coach will transfer you to the shop to return your gear and then drop you off at your accommodation at about 5.00 pm. From here on in it's party, party, party with a dinner at a local restaurant.
