The Open Water Dive Course will provide you with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills that you require to visit the Great Barrier Reef.

Your friendly instructor will help you through the learning process. Each new skill getting you closer to the day you board our vessel for your liveaboard dive trip on the Great Barrier Reef. Your open water dive course is split into 3 sections: Class, Pool and Open Water Training dives.

Class

Theory gives you the basic knowledge required to dive in open water conditions, this takes the form of classroom presentations and lectures by your instructor.

Pool

Confined water training takes place in the safety of our relaxed and tropical diver training pool during which time you will master the skills of scuba diving.

Open Water training dives

Open Water dives will be conducted from the safety of the Coral Reeftel - your Floating Hotel on the Barrier Reef.
